no where in the bio do I see how Sue used to rock the house in Brother Jump a Ct. based rock and roll original band. Night after night she would hit the stage with the boys and hold her own through the madness. We had nothing but great respect for her style and grace. She increased our following 10 fold. All I have to say is it was an honor to share the stage with this phenom of a player. And she is quite campy as well. True showmanship.

Susie Q-zers!! Man, I miss the Conservatory! How is everyone doing? Any promising talent at the school this year? I hear a lot of people left just after I did, which bums me out, but to each their own.

I never got to tell you why I left the school: to start writing and performing my own music. Theatre wasn't for me, while I still enjoyed it and all. I just wanted to do something with music instead, and now I'm writing an album. Don't worry, you guys will get a copy down in CT. I'm gonna buy a guitar soon and really get underway learning how to play it and probably writing a lot at the same time.

I hope everything is well! P.S. Pick up the Sara Bareilles CD if you get a chance. You won't regret it. She and Jason Mraz are all I've been listening to lately and really have put a lot of influence on my song styles.

Miss your guts!!

  Hi Susan,
I found your website through a link from the Old Dublin. I may try and stop in to listen. I met you in the mid 1980's - a friend to my cousin Philip. I recognized your photo. Would love to hear your music again. All the best to you, Susan

  Susan,

I absolutely love your instruction on workshoplive. I used to think that music was like math - something to be avoided. Now that I'm following your instruction, I might just take a class in algebra - it's easy and fun!
